EDWARD PEASE
Principal
Born In: A Memphis native at his core, Edward Pease’s life journey led him to Atlanta with Landstone, LLC to develop a series of Kroger grocery stores, Lowes, CVS, Walgreens and medical buildings.
Industry Expertise: With more than two decades of experience investing in and developing freestanding retail developments, shopping centers and specialty medical centers, Ed decided to pursue something new - a future in residential development. Ed launched Oak Hall Companies – a real estate development and investment company – with seasoned residential construction veteran, Tad Braswell, that ultimately developed into Southwyck homes present-day.
Approach: Ed’s whole-hearted approach stems from his enjoyment in the personal touch granted by residential development as opposed to commercial. With his purchaser’s end goal in mind, Ed approaches each individual build with the idea in mind that this is the place where a family will shape a future together.
Community Involvement: Ed’s passion for people led him, along with his wife Patti and their two sons, into an even greater passion for mission work and a conviction for giving back. As the Director and Co-Founder of World Missions Partners (WMP), he is proud to serve at the helm of one of the largest continuing mission programs operating in the San Jose, Costa Rica area where they assist with medical and dental missions, educational funding, and various support programs. In addition, Ed has served on the boards of The Young Family YMCA in Atlanta and The Summit Center and was a member of the Johns Creek Citizens Advisory Committee. Today, he continues to serve on the board for Champions Community Foundation, as well as the Georgia Student Finance Commission representing the 6th Congressional District of Georgia.
Fun Fact: Ed and his family have personally touched the lives of several young people by providing access to education through their mission work – one of whom is currently in law school and 10 are in dental school in the Dominican Republic.
Inspiration: Touching lives from young couples to growing families to empty nesters is Ed’s driving motivator day in and day out.
